Diane Bousquin
Licensed Acupuncturist
Specializing in Sports Medicine and Nutritional Counseling for Optimal Health

Diane Bousquin holds a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition.  She is nationally certified and California board licensed in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.  Diane completed a two year internship with Matt Callison, a leader in Orthopedic Acupuncture.  This field of study included rehabilitating professional athletes as well as students at UCSD’s RIMAC center.   Diane’s sports medicine treatment services include acupuncture, soft tissue release and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation.  When used together these modalities correct muscular imbalances, increase local microcirculation, accelerate the healing of muscular injuries and quickly eliminate pain.

Diane has added the TerraQuant cold laser device to her sports medicine treatments.  The TerraQuant is the only pain relief device on the market that delivers spectacular results using a unique combination of pulse laser, infrared radiation, visible red light and magnetic field generations. The most popular use of cold laser therapy is the treatment of sports injuries, soft tissue and joint conditions, although neuropathy and wound healing are commonly treated.  The TerraQuant speeds the recovery of injuries while providing pain relief, increased stamina, acceleration of recovery after injury, wound healing and treatment of accompanied conditions/diseases.  Cold laser may be combined with acupuncture, however, is an effective modality when used alone.

Diane has expanded her knowledge in nutrition by attending state-of-the-art seminars on hormone health, focused on analyzing salivary and serum testing, and then applying appropriate nutritional support.  Diane offers affordable blood and saliva testing to identify and evaluate thyroid health, male and female hormone disorders, immune system conditions, blood sugar imbalances; along with liver, G.I. tract, and biliary function.

Through the integration of both Western and Eastern medical concepts, Diane draws on acupuncture, physical therapy, Chinese herbal medicine and nutritional supplements to help her patients regain optimal health.
